Tesla Recalls Most Cybertrucks Due to Loose Trim Issue

Tesla is recalling 46,096 Cybertrucks in the U.S almost all Cybertrucks made up to February—because an exterior panel might come loose while driving. This adds to a growing list of recalls for the electric pickup since its launch.

Why Is Tesla Recalling Cybertrucks?

The stainless-steel trim panel on the outside of the truck could detach while driving, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of accidents.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a notice about the problem.

Tesla will fix the issue for free by replacing the affected parts.
